VAC 2027
International conference on
Vascular anomalies
From Mechanisms to Medicines
Barcelona, Spain / 9-12 March 2027
The VAC International Conference on Vascular Anomalies: From Mechanisms to Medicines builds on a strong and well-established European scientific trajectory that promotes excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, inclusivity, patient-centred research, and responsible dissemination. Vascular anomalies comprise a heterogeneous group of predominantly congenital disorders, including vascular malformations, vascular tumours, and complex genetic syndromes. Although individually rare, collectively they impose significant lifelong morbidity and require highly specialized, coordinated care. Advancing this field demands close interaction between basic science, translational research, and clinical expertise.
The success of previous editions (Barcelona 2021, Brussels 2023, Berlin 2025) demonstrates the growing relevance of this forum and the importance of ensuring its continuity in a rapidly evolving field. The previous edition VAC 2025, was held in Berlin and it was attended by 200 people from 25 countries. Thanks to the high-level speakers, the lively discussions, the enthusiastic contributions of many young researchers and the active participation of attendees, it was a fruitful, joyful and inspiring event! We are confident that the upcoming VAC2027 edition will once again be a great success, and we warmly look forward to welcoming you all to Barcelona!
